We locked in gains on our long index positions at higher levels (S&P 500 around 6755, Dow Jones near 46,760, Nasdaq around 25,130 and Russell 2000 near 2,388) and immediately reversed to fresh short positions. Our day-trading strategy then booked profits on those shorts as the market pulled back, covering around Dow 45,930, S&P 500 6,593, Nasdaq 24,320 and Russell 2,334.
